Key Largo Fishing Report

April, spring is around the corner this means big Mahi, Dorado, or as we call it Dolphin fish. The last of the big push of sailfish this month as they head to Mexico for there spawn.

The dolphin have started to show up not in as large a numbers as we would like to see but the fish are in pairs and are running in the 15 to 20 lb range.  We are getting the heavy lifters and schoolies. The wrecks are loaded with Amber Jacks for those who like a good fight. The reef is heating up also with yellowtail snapper.

This was a short report but will be back tomorrow, I’m fishing the next few days and will let you know.

Fishing has been good so lets not wait ……………. !!!
