Key Largo Fishing Report

Well boys and girls tomorrow the grouper season opens back up, and look at this weather. It may keep us in a few days.

Last day of April and it was a good month, the sailfish bite was good here in Key Largo and seemed to be better down the road towards Key West. We had had some catches of sailfish though along with some Blackfin Tuna up to 30 lbs  and gaffer dolphin. Going into May we should start seeing the big dolphin (Mahi-mahi) with skip jack tuna and wahoo .  The bottom bite of muttons and grouper should be as good, I know there a lot of bottom fisherman out there and are gearing up. The last moon was fair on the muttons and we have a rising moon now so it should be ripping up the conditions for a good bottom bite of grouper and muttons.

This weather should be out of here so lets go fishing ………………….
