Contagious wins Islamorada Dolphin Tournament June 3

Thirty-six anglers competed in a quest for three big dolphin June 2-3, and the team aboard the Contagious netted 46.8 pounds to take home the boasting rights, trophy, and monetary and fishing gear prizes.

The Contagious’ 27.8-pounder won the largest fish award over the two days and added $1,000 and a few more prizes to their winnings.

The team took home the second place trophy sponsored by Mangrove Mike’s Café with a total of 37 pounds. They also received a check for $2000, a $100 gift certificate to Green Turtle or Kaiyo Restaurant, a Redbone fishing rod, and a bucket full of fishing supplies.
