ForShoreFishing Guess The Fishing Spot Contest 9/10/13

This is week 18 of “Guess The Fishing Spot” at ForShoreFishing.TheLedger.com.

This contest is sponsored by Stone’s Outdoors located in Lakeland. Here’s a link to their Facebook page: Stone’s Outdoors. Stone’s has an excellent selection of both saltwater and freshwater fishing tackle and supplies as well as outdoor apparel. Stone’s is located at a new location in the Ruthven II Plaza at 2300 East Edgewood Drive in Lakeland.

Here are two different zoomed in views of a coastal fishing spot somewhere along Florida’s vast coastline. It could be anywhere along the state’s shore from outside beaches to inland bays. Last week’s spot was correctly identified as Terrapin Bay down in the Everglades north of the Keys.

Last week’s spot was identified once again very quickly, so this week I’ve tried to pick a spot that may be a little harder. If this week’s spot is guessed in short time, then the skill level will go up considerably. I’ve already chosen what I deem to be a very hard spot to identify for next week. We’ll see how quick you map hounds are this week.

As usual, the top image is from one of the online mapping services and the bottom one is from the Standard Mapping charts available at many bait and tackle shops throughout Florida.

The first person to guess the correct location and post in the comments section below will receive a complimentary prize of one pack of soft plastic baits made by either D.O.A., MirrOlure, or Berkley Gulp. I’ll leave the prize choice up to the reader who provides the first correct answer and I’ll send it out via snail mail.

I’m also only going to allow winners to receive a prize once every calendar month.

Just to make things easier and so I don’t have to track down the right person later, please make sure I have a way of contacting your email address along with your answer.

Good luck and remember to post in the comments section below.

“May your lines be tight and your shake off’s and break off’s memorable.”
